Via Istrum Viognier 2024 is an elegant dry white wine made from 100% Viognier grapes grown on the Danube slopes in northern Bulgaria, in the vineyards of Chateau Burgozone – a boutique family winery with minimal intervention in winemaking.
In the glass, it reveals a powerful, fruity bouquet with notes of white and tropical fruits – peach, apricot, mango, and citrus tones, accompanied by delicate aromas of white flowers and a pleasant freshness on the palate. The structure is harmonious, medium to full-bodied, with a long, elegant finish that highlights the fruitiness and minerality of the terroir.
This wine is an excellent choice for gastronomic occasions, especially with seafood, fish, poultry, and light cheeses, but also as an aperitif due to its freshness and aromatic profile.
