4.500 rsd

Merengő Egri Bikavér Superior 2021 is a dry, complex and structured Hungarian red blend with pronounced dark berry notes, good acidity and clean tannins – a representative label of traditional Egri Bikavér from the Eger region.

Description

Merengő Egri Bikavér Superior 2021 is a representative Hungarian red wine from the Eger region, showcasing the classic Egri Bikavér style — structured, powerful and complex. The blend of key varieties includes Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah, giving the wine rich aromatic layers and excellent balance between acidity, tannins and fruit notes.

The wine shows an intense nose of dark and red berries with notes of plum, cherry and blackcurrant, and on the palate offers pronounced structure, soft tannins and a long finish. After fermentation in stainless steel or open vats, the wine is aged for about 15 months in Hungarian oak barrels, contributing to its depth and ability to age.

Pairing: Excellent with rich dishes such as beef, lamb, game and robust stews, making it a highly versatile choice for more serious meals and wine tastings. A serving temperature of around 16–18 °C further highlights its balance and aromatic profile.
