Description

Gál Tibor Merlot 2018 is a dry, still red wine made from 100% Merlot grapes from the Eger wine region in Hungary. The grapes were hand-harvested on 15 October 2018, fermented with 25 days of skin maceration and a spontaneous process, and the wine was then aged for 12 months in oak barrels of various ages. The wine is characterized by intense aromas of dark berries, spicy notes, white pepper, and cocoa, with balanced tannins and a long finish, making it a powerful example of the Eger Merlot style.
