Description

Heinrich Pinot Noir 2023 from Weingut Heinrich is an elegant and natural red wine from biodynamic production. The grapes are hand-picked from the vineyard slopes around Lake Neusiedl, on soils rich in limestone and gravel, then spontaneously fermented with a short maceration on skins and aged for 7 months on natural yeasts.

In the glass, the wine displays a brilliant ruby red color, with layered aromas of red berries, floral accents, and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it is juicy and elegant, with precise and balanced acidity, while the tannins remain discreet and gentle. With 12% alcohol and a style that emphasizes pure fruitiness and terroir, this wine pairs well with dishes such as chicken with fruit sauce, mushroom dishes, or lightly roasted red meat, and has a cellaring potential of 6 to 8 years.
