Wines with character, shaped by tradition and the winemaker’s skill.

Tokaj is one of Hungary’s most famous wine regions, especially valued for its sweet and aromatic wines made from noble rot grapes. Located in the northeast of the country, Tokaj boasts a specific combination of volcanic and limestone soils, a moderate continental climate influence, and long sunny days.

The Tokaj region is not merely a place for wine production; it is an area where tradition merges with precise winemaking expertise, giving the wines from this region a distinctive style and exceptional elegance. Each bottle tells a story of a unique microclimate, grape quality, and the winemaker’s care, and the wines are known for their balanced sweetness, aromatic notes, and a long, refined finish.

Tokaj particularly excels in producing wines from the Furmint variety, which yields wines with characteristic acidity and excellent aging potential, as well as Hárslevelű, known for its floral and fruity notes. Wines from Tokaj can be dry, semi-dry, or sweet, with the most renowned being, of course, the sweet botrytized wines, which have been a symbol of luxury and elegance for centuries.
