Description
Tonković Fantazija 2017 is an authentic expression of the Kadarka variety from the Subotica–Horgoš Sands. The grapes come from vineyards on the sandy soils of Bački Vinogradi, where the variety develops its distinctive elegance and freshness. The wine is aged in oak barrels and then spends extended time in bottle, contributing to its complexity and harmonious structure.
The aroma is dominated by sour cherry, cherry, and red berry fruit, with discreet spicy and floral tones. On the palate it is elegant, medium- to full-bodied, with soft tannins and balanced freshness that makes it easy to drink, yet with serious ageing potential.
Thanks to its structure and terroir, Fantazija 2017 pairs excellently with red meat, game, duck, and more mature cheeses, representing a classic, recognizable Kadarka style from this region.
