Loimer Dechant Pinot Noir 2021 from Weingut Fred Loimer is an elegant red wine from the Kamptal region, spontaneously vinified with minimal intervention and whole cluster fermentation. After hand-picking and biodynamic vineyard cultivation, the wine ages for 12 months in smaller oak barrels and an additional 8 months in larger barrels, and is bottled unfiltered.
In the glass, it displays a brilliant ruby red color, with an aromatic profile that includes cherries, blood oranges, roots, and discreet earthy tones, accompanied by vibrant acidity and fine tannins. With 12% alcohol, the wine is harmonious, sophisticated, and suitable for dishes such as roasted vegetables, pasta, or dishes with aromatic sauces, with a storage potential of 3–8 years.
