Zorah Karasì 2021 comes from the Vayots Dzor wine region in Armenia and is made from 100% Areni Noir, Armenia’s indigenous red variety. The grapes are hand-harvested from older vineyards at around 1,400–1,500 m, and fermentation and ageing take place in traditional amphorae (karasi), followed by additional bottle ageing. The wine offers aromas of dark berries, plum, and spice, while on the palate it is structured, mineral, and elegant with a long finish. Ideal with red meat, game, and mature cheeses.
