Gál Tibor S.D. Gloria 2021 is a dry still red wine from the Eger (Hungary) wine region, crafted from carefully selected Kékfrankos, Kadarka, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir varieties from the Nagy-Eged, Pajados, and Síkhegy plots. Grapes were hand-harvested between October 1 – 20, 2021, fermented with a long maceration period, and the wine was aged for 18 months in 500 l oak barrels. The wine is characterized by pronounced aromas of red and dark fruits, blackcurrant, and blueberries, a complex aromatic profile, and balanced tannins, making it a serious expression of the Egri Bikavér style.
