Tokaji Furmint Szent Tamás 2020 is a dry wine made from 100% Furmint from the unique Szent Tamás vineyard in the Tokaj region, delivering pronounced minerality and elegance. The vineyard reflects its terroir through a rich aromatic profile, built on layers of citrus, ripe fruit, and subtle floral notes, with a robust yet fresh structure.
Even in the name, a strong character is felt – bright acidity and mineral tones clearly dominate, while spontaneous fermentation and 9 months of ageing in oak barrels add complexity and depth to the aromas. On the palate, the wine is balanced, with a long finish and a clearly defined terroir character.
Thanks to its structure and elegant minerality, Szent Tamás is an ideal match for seafood, light white meats, or aromatic cheeses, and it also has excellent long-term ageing potential, making it especially appealing to lovers of serious dry Furmint wines.
