Zorah Heritage Chilar 2021 comes from the Vayots Dzor winegrowing region in Armenia, where Chilar grapes are hand-harvested from old vineyards at around 1,400–1,500 m above sea level. The wine is made from 100% Chilar and fermented with 60 days of skin maceration in traditional amphorae (karas), followed by 9 months of ageing in amphorae and 10 months in bottle. The aromatic profile includes pear, peach, and citrus notes, while on the palate it is layered, mineral, and elegant with a long, clean finish—an excellent example of the textural architecture of old Armenian varieties.
