Château Purcari Academia Saperavi 2019 is a dry red wine made from the Saperavi variety, produced from hand-harvested grapes from vineyards in the Ștefan Vodă region of Moldova. Vinification takes place in clay amphorae, with short ageing in oak barrels, which adds complexity and a full expression of the variety. The aroma is dominated by plum, black fruit, and ripe fruit notes, with subtle spicy tones. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structurally rich, with soft tannins and a long, elegant finish.
