Description

Quevedo Colheita Port 1995 is an elegant example of a single-vintage tawny Port. The Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão grapes are fermented in tanks, then the wine is aged for around 30 years in old oak barrels, developing rich aromas of caramel, quince, walnut, coffee, and spice. On the palate it is sweet, rich, and well-balanced, with a long, warm finish. It is ideal with creamy cheeses, nuts, and dried-fruit desserts, but can also be enjoyed on its own.
