Cabernet Franc 2020 originates from the prestigious Villány region in Hungary, where the grapes were carefully grown in accordance with biodynamic and organic principles. The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September, and fermentation occurs spontaneously with natural yeasts without additives, allowing the terroir authenticity and fine minerality of the wine to stand out.
During vinification, this Cabernet Franc matures for about 20 months in used barrique barrels, which contributes to the complexity of the taste and a silky structure with balanced tannins. The taste profile is characterized by aromas of dark berries, cherries, mild spicy notes of paprika, and a finish with fine chocolate hints, highlighting elegance and harmony.
The wine is dry, elegant, and balanced, with an alcohol content of 13% and a pleasant freshness that makes it an excellent partner for dishes made of beef, lamb, or game. As a tasting wine, it registers a solid rating on Vivino and shows the potential to further develop in the bottle if stored until optimal years.
