Makaridze Aladasturi Rosé 2024 is crafted from 100% indigenous Aladasturi grapes sourced from Imereti, a traditional Georgian wine region. The grapes are organically grown, and the wine is produced with minimal intervention, undergoing spontaneous fermentation in traditional qvevri vessels.
This wine presents a light rosé color and a light, vibrant character, marked by pronounced freshness and crisp acidity. The nose and palate reveal aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry, and pomegranate, complemented by delicate floral, herbal, and spicy undertones, alongside a discreet minerality. Aging in qvevri contributes to its texture and complexity, while the absence of filtration and added sulfites preserves the wine’s natural character.
